SAP manufacturing expertise? Ready to make a real impact?
We're partnering with a global manufacturing business looking for someone who understands SAP, knows how manufacturing really works and can turn complex operational problems into practical solutions.
The business has invested in SAP. The opportunity now is to make it work harder for the people who rely on it.
That means improving production planning, strengthening master data, supporting local SAP capability and connecting the needs of manufacturing operations with the global technology organisation.
It's a hands-on role with genuine visibility, variety and the opportunity to make a measurable difference.
And you don't need to have followed a traditional IT career path to be considered.
If you've built your career around SAP manufacturing, enjoy solving problems and want to broaden your experience across business applications and technology, we'd be interested in speaking with you.
The opportunity
You'll play a key role in supporting and improving SAP manufacturing processes and business systems across Australia and New Zealand.
Working closely with local business stakeholders and the global IT organisation in France, you'll help identify opportunities to improve how systems, processes and people work together.
Your initial focus will be on understanding the current environment, building relationships with business users and identifying where SAP and operational processes can be improved.
From there, you'll be actively involved in delivering practical improvements across production planning, supply chain, master data, user capability and the wider applications environment.
You'll also have exposure to broader regional IT services, collaborating with specialist teams across infrastructure, cybersecurity, governance and technology delivery.
This isn't about producing endless strategy presentations.
It's about getting into the detail, understanding the problems and helping make things work better.
What you'll be doing
First and foremost, you understand SAP in a manufacturing environment.
You know how production planning, materials, inventory and master data connect. You understand why poor system adoption or inaccurate data can cause major operational problems.
You might have started your career as an SAP PP, MM or manufacturing functional consultant.
Perhaps you're currently working as an SAP Business Analyst, Functional Specialist, Applications Analyst or ERP Support Specialist.
Or you may be working directly within a manufacturing business, supporting SAP and helping operational teams get more from their systems.
We're open to different career paths, provided you bring genuine SAP manufacturing expertise, strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to business improvement.
You'll also bring:
You don't need to have managed an IT department.
You don't need to be an expert in every SAP module or personally configure every solution.
And you don't need to have followed a traditional IT career path.
What matters is your understanding of SAP manufacturing, your ability to work with people across the business and your track record of helping solve operational challenges.
Why this role?
Because you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact.
This is not simply a BAU support role. It's an in-house opportunity to get involved in meaningful improvements and see the results of your work in a real manufacturing environment.
You'll be joining at a point where the business recognises the need for change and is investing in making its systems and processes more effective.
You'll work closely with experienced business stakeholders, collaborate with a global technology organisation and gain exposure to a broad range of SAP manufacturing and IT initiatives.
You'll also receive training in the organisation's global SAP environment, including engagement with colleagues in Europe.
It's an opportunity to build on your existing SAP expertise, broaden your experience and contribute to improvements that make a real difference.
If you enjoy fixing what isn't working, helping people get more from SAP and seeing the results of your efforts on the factory floor, this could be exactly the challenge you're looking for.
